Attorney Lucas Thompson

Lucas Thompson serves clients that are dealing with criminal and family law matters such as OVI/DUI, misdemeanor offenses, traffic violations, custody, divorce, annulment, dissolution, and civil protection orders. Lucas also handles matters involving civil litigation. 

Lucas grew up in Appalachia where words are cheap and hard work talks. He is committed to giving every client the quality representation they deserve. 

Lucas graduated from Appalachian School of Law with a Juris Doctor and Juris Master. Prior to that, he graduated from Tiffin University with a Master of Science in Criminal Justice/Homeland Security and Bachelor of Arts in National Security and Government. While in law school, he was selected to be member by the Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi and the Society of Scholars of Phi Alpha Delta because of his academic achievement. Lucas went on to be the Teaching Assistant in Criminal Practice at Appalachian School of Law for Thomas Scott, a criminal defense lawyer in Virginia’s Lawyer Hall of Fame.  

Lucas and his wife Idalia reside in Circleville. He enjoys sports, music, history, politics, and movies. Lucas serves as a JAG officer in the Ohio Military Reserve. Lucas is active in his community and is a member of multiple charitable organizations. The descendant of a 6th Great Grandfather who served in the Virginia Regiment of the Continental Army, Lucas is also a member of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), and a Kentucky Colonel commissioned by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear.
